You can do this exercise whenever you have a little time. Fifteen minutes of silence should be enough. No phone, no radio or television will disturb you and you have to make sure that your neighbors are silent too. Put on some comfortable, loose clothes, made of cotton for the best results and open the windows wide. You may sit directly on the carpet or on a thinner mattress.
Lotus position is famous: sitting with legs crossed, back straight, and the chin slightly rose, watching ahead.
